Tourist Park Playground - Professional Service Contract Change Order |
| | | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: | The City Commission approved Sanders and Czapski Associates for the professional services contract to install the playground at Tourist Park. The playground is now complete. Staff has been working with Sanders and Czapski to complete the invoicing and discovered a misunderstanding with a change order provided to the City during the project. The change order appeared to bring the total contract up to less than the original $9,420 approved by the Commission and would not have required any further Commission approval. Sanders and Czapski clarified their intent with the change order was to increase the contract by $1,200 to $10,620.
The request was to cover additional expenses related to re-bidding the project with a slight redesign. Staff have reviewed the scope of work and find that these services have been completed. Staff recommends approval of this change order to allow this project to be closed out. |
