The Rental Fire Safety Code needs to be amended in order to make it consistent with the recent updates to the Land Development Code which increased the number of unrelated tenants allowed in a dwelling unit from four to five.

Per City Charter, an ordinance cannot be adopted at the meeting at which it is introduced. This ordinance was originally introduced at the Commission's regular meeting on February 10, 2025.
