Fire Safety Systems Service Agreement |
| | | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: | NFPA rules require that all fire alarms, fire extinguishers and sprinkler systems be inspected and tested on a yearly basis. The City has Simplex fire protection panels installed at Lakeview, City Hall and the Municipal Service Center. Since fire protection systems are proprietary, only Johnson Controls Fire Protection can provide replacement components for the systems. The cost for a one-year preferred service agreement is $12,868.94. The service contract includes component warranty replacement, 24/7 fire alarm monitoring and all necessary testing services and preventative maintenance activities to maintain City fire protection panels at NFPA standards. The agreement renews annually unless canceled. |
