The current contract for solid waste collection services expires on September 30, 2024.  A notable change from the previous solid waste bid pack is that the sections on annual hauling of Christmas trees from a drop off site, and large or bulky item collection have been removed.  This solid waste bid pack is one of three main service areas that include Residential Curbside Collection, Municipal Facility Collection, and Special Collections.  The term of the contract will be October 1, 2024, through September 30, 2031. 

BP 24-02 Solid Waste Collection Services – Special Collections focused on bid requests for pricing on seasonal rubbish collection from a city drop off site.  The annual hauling of Christmas trees from a drop off site is handled in house, and large or bulky item collection has other private hauler options available to supplement the drop off options.

Bid packages were sent out to two regional vendors and the bids were publicly displayed and noticed.  Two responses were received and opened on April 25, 2024.  A bid tabulation is attached.
