Senior Services - Master Agreement to Purchase Services |
| | | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: | Presented for consideration is the Master Agreement to purchase services for senior service programs for older residents in the City of Marquette and Chocolay, Marquette and Powell townships. Under this agreement, the County of Marquette agrees to expend millage funds to purchase senior services from the City.
In a given year, approximately half of the Marquette Senior Center revenue comes through similar agreements, under which municipalities purchase services from the Center.
The 2024 calendar year millage allocation is $469,085. This represents an increase of $53,365, or 12 percent, from the previous year's agreement. The reimbursement will be paid in a lump sum to be allocated monthly. |
