Approximately one-half of the Marquette Senior Center budget is constituted of revenues derived through purchase of service agreements such as the Master Agreement to Purchase Services (In-Home Services) under consideration. These contracts have been implemented as service reimbursement agreements consistent with the same approach that has been used for more than 30 years.
This agreement funds $70,885.40 or an estimated 2,953 units of homemaking services at a unit reimbursement rate of $24.00, $6,768.35 or an estimated 282 units of General Respite at a unit reimbursement rate of $24.00, and $5,943.99 or an estimated 248 units of NFC Respite at a unit reimbursement rate of $24.00. There is a ten (10%) percent local in-kind match requirement outlined in the agreement that has been budgeted under salaries and wages.
The City received the agreement from the County the first week of November; the effective date is October 1, 2023.
