The City of Marquette was selected by Domino’s Pizza, LLC as a partner in their Plowing for Pizza advertising campaign.  As part of the agreement, Domino’s will provide the City with $25,000 to assist with winter road maintenance during the period of November 2023 to April 2024.  There is no cost to the City and the only requirement is that the funds be used towards snow removal.  Due to rising steel prices, staff recommends the funds be applied to offset the cost of underbody cutting blades used on frontline plows.  If approved, the ad campaign will begin on December 7, 2023.

All funds received will be credited to the Fiscal Year 2024 Motor Pool Maintenance Fund.

Approve the Plowing for Pizza - Partnership Agreement and the Mutual Non-Disclosure Agreement with Work in Progress, LLC, an agent for Domino’s Pizza, LLC, and authorize the Mayor and City Clerk to sign the Agreements.
