BACKGROUND:

Randall Maxwell and Mandy Eastley have submitted an application to use a small portion of the W. College Ave. right-of-way adjacent to their home for the placement of a step, as part of a set of steps that were built without a permit into that right-of-way. The Board of Zoning Appeals approved a Variance in July of this year for the encroachment, with the condition that a License for the encroaching step is approved by the City Commission.

FISCAL EFFECT:

The application fee of $425 and has been paid.

RECOMMENDATION:

Approve the License and execute the Grant of License document.

ALTERNATIVES:

As determined by the Commission.
