Superior Hockey, LLC has requested the City Commission renew its lease for office and storage space at Lakeview Arena, which expired August 31, 2022. Staff worked with the City Attorney and Superior Hockey, LLC to draft a standard lease agreement which provides for the terms and conditions of the lease, with an effective date of September 1, 2022. The monthly payment shall be $1,630.00. The term of the lease is five (5) years.
It should be noted the annual rental amount may increase at an amount not-to-exceed twenty (20%) percent of the previous year's rate.
This lease is for 2,039 square feet of office and storage space as outlined in exhibit A.
City Charter requires lease agreements to have two reads. The first read of this item was at the March 27, 2023 meeting.
