| | | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: | The Wastewater facility utilizes two Kraft combined heat and power units to provide electricity and heat. These units run 24/7 and have already accumulated over 28,000 hours. Based on the hours accumulated on the units it is expected that both will need an engine top end overhaul this budget year. |

| | | | | | | | | FISCAL EFFECT: | Sufficient funds are available in the Wastewater budget for the overhaul. |

| | | | | | | | | RECOMMENDATION: | | Approve the expenditure, not to exceed $45,000, to Kraft Power for co-generation engine repair. |
