Marquette Outdoors - Tourist Park Kayak Rental Lease |
| | | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: | Marquette Outdoors, LLC of Hancock, Michigan, has requested the City Commission consider leasing 60 square feet of space at Tourist Park Day-Use Area, for a storage rack of kayaks. Marquette Outdoors would rent the kayaks to campers and visitors in exchange 1% of their gross revenues. The term of the lease is from July 25, 2022 through October 31, 2022 and May 1, 2023 through October 31, 2023.
The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board recommended approval of the lease after reviewing the proposal. This is the first read of the lease. |
