City of Marquette Water, Sewer, and Stormwater Utility Financial Plan Contract |
| | | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: | At the February 28, 2022 work session regarding utility rates, the City Commission expressed a desire to update the utility financial plan due to concerns with the rate increases proposed in the current plan.
City staff are recommending awarding a contract to Raftelis Financial Consultants, Inc. to update the financial plan and to determine the level of revenue necessary to support the utilities over the next 10 years. The update will also include an analysis of the affordability of water and sewer rates for City customers. |

| | | | | | | | | RECOMMENDATION: | Award a Professional Service Agreement to conduct a water, sewer, and stormwater utility financial plan update to Raftelis Financial Consultants, Inc. for an amount not-to-exceed $31,220. |
