| | | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: | The Marquette Area Wastewater facility uses a progressive cavity pump to transfer liquid waste activated sludge to the belt filter press for dewatering. The pump has been in operation for 13 years and needs a rebuild or replacement. After getting quotes for parts, it was determined it would be more cost effective to purchase a new pump. There is only one vender that serves the area. |
