In 2016, the City entered into a lease agreement with CCA Financial for switches to be installed at the newly built Municipal Service Center. The lease included eight fiber ring and edge switches, two firewalls and a server management KVM switch. As equipment reaches the end of its life cycle, a new lease has been proposed to replace the fiber ring and edge switches and one firewall. The City received a quote from SHI International, a preferred vendor and partner in the National Intergovernmental Purchasing Alliance, for the necessary replacement equipment.  The City will be using CCA Financial to lease the switches for five years (60 months), at a monthly cost of $761, representing a total lease cost of $45,660.

The cost of the switch replacement is included in the current budget.  The 60-month switch lease will cost $761 monthly and $45,660 total. 

Authorize the City Manager or her designee to sign a multi-year lease agreement with CCA Financial for switch equipment in an amount not to exceed $45,660.
