Noquemanon Trails Network - NMU Trail Grooming Permit |
| | | | | | | | | BACKGROUND: | The Noquemanon Trails Network Council (NTN) has requested the City Commission consider granting a permit to groom a ski trail through Tourist Park. The permit would allow the NTN to conduct snow grooming activities October 1, 2019 through May 1, 2020. The area groomed would be in accordance with the attached map and would allow the public and NMU students to ski from NMU at Wright Street to the Noque trail system. The grooming would be conducted using a snowmobile and tow-behind groomer owned and operated by the NTN.
The proposed route does not involve removal of any trees. The Parks and Recreation Advisory Board recommended approval at their September 16, 2019 meeting. |
