The City of Marquette has been working with the Superior Watershed Partnership to secure grant funding for the relocation of Lakeshore Boulevard. As part of the grant process, the Superior Watershed Partnership retained OHM Advisors to provide technical assistance in preparing an application for a National Fish and Wildlife Foundation grant opportunity. In January 2019, it was announced that Superior Watershed Partnership was awarded a $2.5 million grant to cover a portion of the cost of the Lakeshore Boulevard relocation project; however, any cost incurred prior to November 1, 2018 is not grant-eligible. OHM Advisors were instrumental in providing technical assistance resulting in the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation grant award.
