Date Established:  Established by City Charter (effective March 27 1893). Powers, duties and procedures are set by State Law and the City Charter.  

Number of Members & Term of Office:  Five members serving three-year terms.                                

Meetings Held:  Established by City Charter, Section 13.7.  This is an elected body that is not appointed by the City Commission; it is responsible for the light and power operations of the City.
