Date Established:  Established by City Charter (effective March 27 1893). Powers, duties and procedures are set by State Law and the City Charter. This is an elected body that is not appointed by the City Commission; it is responsible for the light and power operations of the City.

Number of Members & Term of Office:  Five members serving three-year terms.                                

Meetings Held: All meetings will be held at the Marquette Board of Light & Power office building at 2200 Wright Street at 4:30 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of every month.
